Just the other night.
You looked kind of cute,
I thought I’d do alright.
So I walked on over,
And asked you to dance.
Hopeful this was to be the start,
Of a new romance.

Verse 2:
You seemed really happy,
To meet a guy like me.
We danced all through the night,
I got home at three.
But by noon the next day,
You’d begun to cool.
It was then I realised,
I was such a fool.
